Dale H. Andrus

Dale Herbert Andrus of Oconomowoc went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Lake Country Health Services in Oconomowoc at the age of 71. He was born in Hustisford, Wisconsin on February 20, 1947 the son of Mann Omar and Laverne Mae (nee Eckert) Andrus. He was preceded in death on January 10, 2015, by his loving wife and High School sweetheart Linda Banks.

Dale was an amazing musician and had the privilege to play in numerous bands throughout southeastern Wisconsin. He was loved by all those around him and the music community will mourn the loss of an amazing bassist and singer.

He will be sadly missed by his sons Randall (Sheila) Andrus of Waukesha and Richard (Andrea) Andrus of Parker, South Dakota. His loving grandchildren Rachael (Dani) DeMarco, Gabrielle Andrus, Samantha (Josh) Schultz, Daniel Andrus, Jason Kaatz, Regan Andrus, and Nathan Andrus. His cherished great-grandchildren Isabella Schultz and Lincoln DeMarco. Further survived by his brother Duane (Rogena) Andrus of Janesville, WI., other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. until time of the 6:30 p.m. memorial service at Salem United Methodist Church, 541 State Road 59, Waukesha, WI 53186. After the memorial service there will be an open jam session to celebrate Dale’s musical legacy at the Waukesha Eagles Club 709 N. Grandview Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188.
