Adam Walter Henry Thompson, 46, of Waukesha, passed away on February 17, 2025 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1979, in Waukesha, the son of Walter Henry and Jody (nee: Schultz) Thompson. Adam was a proud 1997 graduate of Waukesha West High School. Adam was an avid gamer, a reptile enthusiast, having many reptiles in his home, loved his dog “Boy” and most of all loved his family enjoying every family gathering.
He is survived by his mother Jody (Cruz Sr.) Ortega of Waukesha, his grandmother Elly Schultz of North Freedom, Wisconsin, his siblings, Alisha Robles of Waukesha, Alex Ehlinger of Maryland, Cruz (Erin) Ortega of Milton, Wisconsin, Juanita Ortega of Milwaukee, Christine (Erik) Branstrom of Marinette, Wisconsin, Tina (Jeff) Veriha of Marinette, Wisconsin, Larry Thompson of Missouri, and Grace (Jonathan) Wilson of Missouri. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Henry Thompson, grandfather Donald Schultz, and grandmother Phylis Bittner.
A celebration of life will be planned in the summer. Date and time will be announced on this website.
