Albert Sereno

Albert J., “Al” Sereno “The Accordion Man” of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Friday night, April 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old. He was born in Waukesha the son of Arthur “Hotsocks” and Amelia “Millie” (Nee: Wiese) Sereno. Al was a hard working man, being a core maker for 42 years. Eighteen at General Castings and twenty-four years at Accurate Brass and Aluminum, where he retired in 2000. His true joy of life was his music. He played the accordion since he was a young boy. He played for weddings and special occasions making many people happy. When he no longer could play the accordion, we went to the keyboards, making friends and family happy. He was so loved by the entire family!
He is survived by Carol Spencer, his special friend of 28 years; his sons, Joe ( friend Mary Baker) Sereno, Ken Sereno and Jeff ( friend Jackie Marino) Sereno; grandchildren Amanda Gale and Russ Sereno along with great- grandchildren Lynea and Scarlett Sereno. He is further survived by his brother Rick (Sue) Sereno, his sister, Susie Sereno Cotton along with a niece Andrea (Chris) Lemke, and nephews, Mike (Kelly) Sereno and Greg Cotton; great nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 30th 2014 at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI from 4:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. The Rev. Karen Pahl is officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Highland Memorial Park. Please meet at the cemetery at 11:00 AM.
