Alois “Al” “Butch” G. Hinkes Jr. a lifelong Waukesha resident died in a tragic accident along with his dog, Max on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the age of 73. He was born in Waukesha on August 8, 1944 the son of Alois and Edna Hinkes. He was a 1962 graduate of Waukesha South High School. Butch worked for Husco International as a machinist for over 40 years.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Randy (Debbie) Hinkes of Mukwonago, Tim (Billie Jo) Hinkes of Oconomowoc and Wendi (Mike) Evans of Sun City, AZ, his grandchildren, Matthew (Molly) Hinkes, Heather Hinkes, Michelle Hinkes, Jacob Evans and Joshua Evans and great-grandfather of Garrett Hinkes and Beau Stevens. He is further survived by his brother-in-law Doug Vanderhei of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Stevon in 1985, his sister Bonnie Vanderhei and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI. Graveside services will be Thursday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery.
