It is with great sadness that the family of Amos Junior Hartley announce his passing on August 31, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 65. Amos was born on January 22, 1953, in Waukesha, the son of Amos Ralph and Minta Mae (nee Harris). On September 4, 1982 he married the former Patricia Kopshinsky in Waukesha. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years, working for Cretex Midwest, Lefebvre and County Materials. He was well known for his love of cooking and canning. He loved spending time outdoors, gardening, hunting, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia, along with their daughter Sonia Hartley. He is further survived by his brother Glenn (Kathy) Hartley; sister Kathy Hartley; brothers-in-law David Kopshinsky, Tom (Donna) Kopshinsky and Fred (Lisa) Kopshinsky; sister-in-law Linda (Steve) Ruthenberg, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Gary, Jerry, Patty Ann, Willie, Mike, Danny and Richard, his father and mother-in-law Oscar and Elvira Kopshinsky and many beloved aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place on Monday, September 10 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. memorial service at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha.
