Andrew Mark Wapp Jr. of Waukesha died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the age of 51. He was born in Waukesha on January 10, 1965 the son of Andrew M. and Judith Mae (nee Collins) Wapp. He was a 1983 graduate of Waukesha South High School and of the auto mechanic program at WCTC. On October 14, 2000 he married the love of his life and best friend whom he has been with since he was 16 years old, Sylvia Zick. Andrew owned Sunset Service Center until retiring in 1993. He loved cars, working, fishing, watching TV, drinking Pepsi and his animals, but most of all loved being with his family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Sylvia Wapp, his son Andrew (Angela Kais) M. Wapp III, his daughter Jessica (John Ames) Wapp, soon-to-be grandchild Baby Ames, his father Andrew M. Wapp Sr and his sister Harriet Hoffer all of Waukesha. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Virginia Mae Zick-Morris, his uncle Melvin Barrick, along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Wapp and his fathers-in-law David Zick and Roy Morris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
