Anita M. Giefen, of Waukesha, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at her daughter’s home in Waukesha at the age of 86. She was born on October 9, 1923 in Milwaukee the daughter of Rudolph and Emma (nee: Hahn) Timmler. She was a 1942 graduate of Juneau High School. On July 20, 1946 she married Raymond Giefen in Chicago, IL. During World War II she had worked for Delta in Milwaukee and for 22 years had worked for Automatic Electric. She was a 50 year member of Ascension Lutheran Church, where she was active with the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed going to the casino’s, especially in Las Vegas. She will be sadly missed by her husband Raymond of Waukesha along with their children Stewart Giefen of Waukesha, Linda (Hilman) West of Euclid, OH, Laura Raffeet, Allen Giefen, Ronald Giefen and Sandra Giefen all of Waukesha. She is further survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Harold Nevin of Alamena, WI, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her children Wayne Giefen and Deborah Osburn, sisters Dorothy, Gertrude, Ella and Gracie and brothers William and Harold. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. A second visitation will take place on Thursday, April 8 from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am funeral service at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp St., Waukesha.
