Anna "Anne" Ramstack

We have lost our dear “Aunt Anne” who died at the age of 89 on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Franciscan Woods in Brookfield. She has gone on to join her beloved husband Ben Ramstack, her mother Mary (Stoppleworth) Fischer, her father William Fischer, her beloved sister Theo (Fischer) Eales, her brother Bill Fischer and her brother-in-law Harold Eales. Anne, so much more than an aunt, much more like a mother will be deeply missed by nieces Tina Holst, Mary (Tim) Owen, Joanne (Dan) Kennedy, Sandi (Dale) Thiel and Lynn Young and nephew Bill (Grace) Fischer. She is also survived by nephews Chuck (Gail) Frentzel and Ray Frentzel and niece Susan Ramstack, her beloved “Cross Plains” cousins, sister-in-law June Fischer, other relatives and friends. Anne was a charter member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Brookfield. She was a devoted and active member for many years, giving of her time and talent. Anne worked as a bookkeeper/accountant at Waukesha Foundry for over thirty years, where she met and kept many lifelong friends. She and uncle Ben loved to entertain, travel, play cards and golf. Anne was a wonderful cook and an avid gardener, but the most important part of her life was her family. Aunt Anne and uncle Ben graciously and lovingly opened their hearts and their home to many of us over the years whenever we needed them. For that we are eternally grateful. We were so lucky to have had aunt Anne in our lives, from childhood through our adult lives. Dear aunt Anne, so much more than just an aunt. We will miss her more than these mere words can express. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 (noon) funeral mass at St. Luke Catholic Church, 18000 W. Greenfield Ave. Brookfield, WI 53045. The Rev. Kenneth Augustine will preside. Burial of cremated remains will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha at a later date. Memorials in Anne’s name will be gratefully accepted to the church (address above). For further information, please call Randle-Dable Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services at (262) 547-4035, or go to www.waukeshafunerals.com to leave an on-line tribute. We would like to thank Franciscan Woods for their kind and compassionate care, especially Rick, Kay and Carol and Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for their kindness and compassion as the end drew near.
