Anne R. Beaty

Anne R. Beaty, of Waukesha, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her residence at the Avalon Square at 86 years. Anne was born in Kaufman, TX on March 4, 1929 the daughter of Lewis Doty and Mary Louise Runnels. Anne worked as a Stewardess for American Airlines and on July 15, 1952 she married Robert (Bob) Hayes Beaty, the son of late Mayor Bruce F. Beaty. Anne and Bob moved from Chicago back to Waukesha, Bob's hometown, in 1956 where they raised their children and resided until 1985. Anne was an active volunteer within her community and donated her time to Waukesha public schools, the Woman's Club, the Kiwi Club and the First United Methodist Church. Anne and Bob moved to Reedsburg, WI in 1985 where she and Bob again made many dear friends in the community and at their local Methodist Church. Anne moved back to the Avalon Square in Waukesha in 2012 and reunited with her church and old friends. Anne loved to read good books as well as play cards, go for walks and spend time at “the lake” with her family. Anne was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1998, and her sister Jean Bridges.

She will be missed greatly by her family: sons, James (Kim) Beaty of Wales, WI and Gregg (Cheryl) Beaty of San Diego, CA and her grandchildren Erik (Jill) Beaty, Tyler, Chelsea, Collin and Marissa and great grandchildren, Bryson, Karson and Samuel.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM followed by a Christian memorial service at 11:30AM all at the First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please direct Memorials in Anne’s name to the First United Methodist Church of Waukesha.
