Anton F. "Tony" Loehr died Sunday, January 20, 2008 at Ruth Hospice in Milwaukee at the age of 67. He was born on February 19, 1940 in Oconomowoc to Anton Franz and Emma (nee: Herzog) Loehr. He was a 1958 graduate of Oconomowoc High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society. In 1964 he received his Bachelor's degree from Marquette School of Engineering. For 28 years he was a plumbing designer at Thelen Plumbing in Oconomowoc. He had owned Loehr Plumbing in Oconomowoc from 1969 until 1977. On June 25, 1994 he married the former Stephanie Schmahl at Unitarian Church North. Tony was a member of the Unitarian Church North in Milwaukee and also a member of Oconomowoc Bowling Hall of Fame. He will be sadly missed by his wife Stephanie of Milwaukee, brother Martin (Kathy) Loehr of Oconomowoc, cousins Richard (Brenda) Herzog and Kathy Herzog both of Waukesha and Robert Herzog of Park City, Utah, brother-in-law Robert DeSantis of Ironwood, Michigan, brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Candy Saxon of Lake Villa, Illinois, nieces Tammy and Cyndi Loehr both of Oconomowoc, Tanya (Matt Sutherland) Loehr of Pine River, Minnesota, Ariel, Rachel and Elizabeth Saxon, great niece Stephanie Loehr, great nephews Dalton Keller and Nicholas Loehr-Enea, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Theresa. A visitation only will be held on Thursday, January 24, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
