Arlene D. Scholl (nee Brecher) a lifelong Waukesha resident was born to Eternal life on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 96. She was born in Waukesha on March 9, 1921 the daughter of Frederick and Caroline (nee Stutz) Brecher. Arlene was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a longtime Waukesha beautician and was the devoted hairdresser for Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home for more than 70 years. Arlene was an avid bridge player and was loved by all who met her.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Charles “Chuck” Scholl of Palmyra and Steve (Janice) Scholl of Milan, MI, her nephew Jerry (Donna) Brecher of Enterprise, AL and her nieces, Carol (Michael) Kennedy of Brookfield, Barb Kilpatrick of Waukesha and Joan Brecher of Tulsa, OK. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved brother Harold “Bud” Brecher, sister Hazel Brecher and brother Alvin Brecher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Father Howard Haase and Father Dennis Klemme will concelebrate. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Mary Catholic Church (address above) or to the Carmel of the Mother of God, Carmelite Monastery, W267 N2517 Carmelite Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072.
