Barbara "Barb" A. Smith

Barbara “Barb” A. Smith a longtime Waukesha resident passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 80. She was born in Waukesha on November 2, 1938 the daughter of Charles and Helen (nee Litt) Hildebran. She attended St. Joseph Grade School and graduated from Waukesha High School. On August 31, 1957 she married the love of her life, David Smith in Waukesha. Barb was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, loved flowers and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of almost 62 years, David of Waukesha and their children, Debbie (Joe) Beeman of New Berlin and Dean (Anne) Smith of Waukesha, her cherished grandchildren, Krista (Brandon) Davis, Nicole Negron, Kristen (Mat) Bunda, Lizzie Smith and Charlie Smith and precious great-grandchildren, Joey Beeman, Jake Beeman, Madi Bunda, Nathanyel Davis, Rhiannon Bunda, James Bunda and Mason Saugestad. She is further survived by her good friends Kenny and Rosie Schultz, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe and Robert Hildebran and sisters, Dorothy Koeffler, Donna Wallich, Rosemary Harris and Carol Henke.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
