Beatrice M. Fluke, of Waukesha, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 95. She was born on May 30, 1916 in Elmwood, WI, the daughter of William and Bertha (nee Smith) Webb. On May 26, 1939 she married Robert "Stanley" Fluke who preceded her in death on February 16, 1986. Beatrice was an avid reader and in her earlier years taught in many one-room schools in Wisconsin. For 31 years she had worked at Zillmer's Office Supply. She was a longtime, faithful member of First Baptist Church for 71 years where she taught Sunday school and served on various committees. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Sandra Fluke of Kenosha and Teryl Fluke of Racine; nieces Betty (Paul) Gibbs and Cathy (Ray) Prochazka and nephew Donald Webb. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister Derby Webb, James K. (Mae) Webb, Russell (Norma) Webb and Marion (Paul) Catura. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 5:00 until the 7:00PM funeral service all at the First Baptist Church, 247 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Rev. Jim Carlson will preside. Private family graveside services will be held on Tuesday at Prairie Home Cemetery.
