Benjamin “Ben” L. Dunston, of Waukesha, found peace on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 26. He was born in West Allis on March 23, 1990 the son of Jay and Catherine “Katie” (nee Peschong) Dunston. He was a 2009 graduate of Waukesha West High School. Ben enrolled in boot camp in 2010 and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was deployed to Afghanistan. He was proud of his job as a security officer for Froedtert Hospital. Ben was an avid cat fisherman and loved animals, especially his dog Jack. He will be forever remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
He will be deeply missed by his parents Jay and Katie Dunston of Waukesha, his sister Rachael Dunston of Waukesha and his grandmothers, Anita Dunston and Gertrude Peschong. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Sherman Dunston and Robert Peschong and his uncle John Peschong.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The funeral service will be private for family and close friends. A private burial with full military honors will be held Friday at Sunnyside Cemetery in Lannon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family to be distributed to some of Ben’s favorite charities.
