Bernard Williams

Bernard A. Williams of Jefferson, formerly of Waukesha, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Alden Estates of Countryside Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Jefferson at the age of 90. He was born in Waukesha on April 1, 1921 the son of John R. and Emma (nee Barndt) Williams. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for 36 years at Wisconsin Natural Gas until his retirement at the age of 62. He was a member of the VFW 5158 Hartland Marshall-Johnson Post He will be sadly missed by his children: Norma (Robert) Tanner of Yakima, WA, Richard “Rick” Williams of Palmyra and Todd Williams of Lombard, IL, his grandchildren: Shane Williams of Palmyra, Chad Williams of Watertown, Michelle Zastrow of Watertown, and Jase Williams of Lombard, IL, He is further survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane on September 17, 2003 and his three sisters, Loretta, Leotta, Marcella and his parents. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4:00 until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
