Bernice Argubright

Bernice M. Argubright, of Waukesha, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 97. She was born in Oglesby, IL on October 15, 1917 the daughter of William and Polone (nee Pocus) Mejowski. On September 30, 1942 she married Joseph L. Argubright; he preceded her in death on November 23, 1980. Bernice worked for Schultz Bros. Variety Store but her pride and joy was her family and being a homemaker. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Carolyn (John) Ruekert of Waukesha and Nancy Argubright of Waukesha, her grandsons, Michael Ruekert and Jeffrey (Lynn) Ruekert and two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Caitlyn Ruekert. She is further survived by her sister Julie Phelps of Sparta along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Stanley and sisters Ann and Helen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 9:30AM until the time of the 11:00AM funeral Mass at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W. State Hwy 59, Waukesha, WI 53189. Father Jose Nieto will preside. Private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials in Bernice’s name are appreciated to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
