Waukesha-Bernice M. McLellan, a wonderful loving mother went to be with her Lord at the age of 98 on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1908 in Osseo, Wisconsin to Frank and Lula (Rice) Zhe. Bernice was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Bernice had worked at Quality Cleaners for many years, retiring in 1963. She loved cooking, baking, being a homemaker and taking care of children. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Marge Herbst of Brookfield, Betty (Charles) Taggart of Eau Claire and Audrey (Jack) Lembke of Waukesha; a stepdaughter Margaret (Homer) Stair grandchildren: Carol Herbst of Madison, Mary (Prakash) Mahbreny of Muskego, Pam (Ramish) Ganatra of Ashville, North Carolina, Michael Taggart of Owatonna, Minnesota, Ronald A. (Nancy) Taggart of Gordon WI, Kristi (Brian) Hennen and Sandie (Bill) Block both of Waukesha; great-grandchildren: Meera, Keeshan, Dan, Steve, Gabe, Chelsa and Tim, Ali, Jack Allen, and Matthew,and two step-grandchildren Sheila and Shelly. Great-great-grandchildren: Peyton and Dylan and a special nephew Jim McLellan of California. She is further survived by special friends Sarah and Mabel and Nurse Joni Schlais at Brookfield Gardens, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her first husband Russell in 1936, her second husband Earl in 1997 and siblings: Josie, Leonard, Herbert, Lloyd and Merlin; and stepson Donald (the late Delores) McLellan. Visitation for Bernice will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until the 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue.
