Bernice V. Rowley, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at LindenGrove at the age of 88 years. She was born in Hillsboro, WI on December 17, 1925 the daughter of Henry and Ella (nee Watson) Rowley. Bernice worked as a waitress at Goff’s Restaurant and Hannon’s Pub. She was a member of Waukesha Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #453 and a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Kathryn “Kay” (the late Lorrin “Jim”) Schroeder of Waukesha, Una (the late James) Havlik of Madison and Charlotte (Andy) Braund of Madison, her nieces and nephews, Jamey (Laura) Schroeder, Bob (Pam) Schroeder, Lorna (Larry) Anders, Steve Havlik, Danny (Linda) Braund, Dale (Judy) Braund, Donny (Sandy) Braund, Jackie (Dave) Church and Jodie (Kevin) Bollendorf. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Pat (Evan “John”) Dobson and Lavina Guthrie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the Eagles Auxiliary Service at 7:00 PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues at the funeral home Friday December 27, 2013 from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM. Father Bill Key will preside. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
