Betty Lou Boelter, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 70. She was born in Superior on January 3, 1945 the daughter of Fred and Lulu (nee Brown) Christenson. She was the apartment manager of the Westwood Apartments in Waukesha for more than 20 years. Betty enjoyed music and polka dancing, camping, and flower gardening. More than anything, she loved her family and enjoyed attending her family reunions.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Terry (Joann Smith) Staupe of Helenville and Julia (Randy) Wolter of Grafton and her grandchildren, Kevin Somers, Thomas Staupe, Nathan Grimm, Tyler Wolter and Marissa Wolter. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Bill (Gloria) Christenson, Charles (Judy) Christenson, Bonnie (Richard) Ramel and Kathy (Carl) Bengston along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert “Bob” and sister Beverly Jodell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the 1:30 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Private burial will be held at Nemadji Cemetery in Superior.
