Betty Ann Gygax

October 16, 1944 — February 7, 2018

Betty Ann Gygax of Pewaukee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 73. She was born on October 16, 1944 the daughter of Hubert and Pearl (nee Radtke) Reuteler. On April 1, 1967, she married Carl Gygax at Christ Lutheran Church in Pewaukee; he preceded her in death on January 29, 2012. Betty enjoyed working as needed in the the lunchroom for the Pewaukee Elementary Schools for many years. She was a longtime member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Olivia at their cabin in Eagle River and at the Pewaukee Lake beach.

She will be sadly missed by her son Rodney Gygax of the town of Delafield and cherished granddaughter Olivia also of the town of Delafield. She is further survived by her sister Joyce Leverenz, brothers Earl (Sue) Reuteler and Dennis (Kathy) Reuteler along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Carl, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 12:30PM until time of the 1:30PM memorial service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Lawrence Gates will preside. If desired, memorials are appreciated to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (address above).
