Betty Ann Staub (nee Evans), a longtime resident of Waukesha, WI, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at AngelsGrace in Oconomowoc, WI at the age of 90. She was born on May 24, 1927 in Waukesha, WI to Walter and Marie (nee Blank) Evans. Betty married Frank “Buck” Staub on November 2, 1946 in Waukesha at the First Presbyterian Church. Betty was a wonderful wife and mother who kept very busy helping Buck out at his State Farm office and working as a volunteer at the Waukesha Service Club. She was an active member at Highview Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Dousman, WI where she enjoyed attending Bible Study. Betty also loved working with the Girl Scouts as one of their leaders, playing a game of bridge with good friends, or playing card games and board games with family. She will be fondly remembered as a great cook and a doting grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 72 years, Buck Staub. Their children Nancy (Lee) Carlson of Eagle, Dr. Rick (Cindy Harrison-Staub) Staub of Plano, TX, and John (Lynn) Staub of Carefree, AZ. She was the beloved grandmother to Matthew Carlson, Mark (Melissa) Carlson, John Carlson (fiancée Brittany), Andrew Carlson, Dr. Kalina Staub, Dr. Mallory (Ricardo) Ponce, Jennelle Staub and Jaclyn (Kevin) Sprague. Dear great-grandmother of Jonathan, Patricia, Lily, Everleigh, Esai, Matthew and Madalyn. She is further survived by her brother Roger Evans of Northern Wisconsin and sister-in-law Sue Evans of Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clyde and Tom Evans.
The family would like to thank the staff of AngelsGrace Hospice, Avalon Square, Compassionate Care Hospice and Dr. Daniel Johnson for their wonderful care over Betty.
