Beverly A. Beckmann, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Watertown at the age of 79. She was born on December 2, 1939, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Albert and Alma (nee Staffaldt) Schikowski. Beverly enjoyed drawing, art, photography, was an avid reader, loved bird watching and volunteering at a bird sanctuary. She found great joy in spending time at the beach when she lived in Florida, collecting many artifacts. A woman of strong faith, she was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church. Beverly’s greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her children John (Jean L.) Beckmann of Hartland, Tammy Grauer of Watertown and Robert (Patty) Beckmann of Franklin, her six grandchildren, Brittany, Trevor, Hailey, Hannah, Helena and Danielle and one great-granddaughter Mackenzie. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Schikowski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the 11:30 a.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend John Borgwardt will preside. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
