Surrounded by family, Bev Wamser (nee Whipple), passed away peacefully, on November 23, 2018, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Greg (Gregory); children Kurt (Betsy) Wamser, Connie Crowe and grandchildren Gwen, Riley, Garret Crowe, and Heather Wilkinson. Further survived by brother Ron (Barbara) Whipple, sisters: Barb (Tom) Kehoe, Kathy (William) Neubert, and brother Robert Whipple. Additionally, Bev is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews.
Bev worked for the Kettle Moraine School District as a secretary for many years. In Waukesha County, Bev volunteered as a 4-H leader, and at the County Fair in the Senior Citizen Department as a co-superintendent. She and Greg served as volunteers at Crescent Lake Bible Camp for decades. Most recently they were involved with Meals on Wheels for the Dept of Aging in Waukesha County. Additionally, she and Greg attended Waukesha Bible Church for forty plus years.
Traveling was a passion for Bev and Greg. They enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ. She loved to stay busy with sewing, doing crafts, gardening, playing games and cards with friends.
Visitation will be at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. funeral service. Pastor Tom Hocking will preside. Graveside services will take place the next day, Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for the procession to Jerusalem Cemetery in Wales.
