Beverly Wehrle Evans

Beverly "Bev" Wehrle Evans, age 77 of Waukesha, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Waukesha Springs. She was born on June 20, 1930, the daughter of Floyd and Cora (Riley) Wehrle. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Evans, who preceded her in death on July 17, 1996. After receiving an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Bev went on to receive a Masters Degree in Art Education. Besides working as an art teacher for many years, she also was Art Director for the Waukesha Public School System. She was a member of Chi Omega, and also a member and past president of Waukesha Service Club. Bev was also very active with AFS (American Field Service) for many years, holding the position of Regional Director. Bev will be sadly missed by her son, Bill (Sonia) Evans of Waukesha; grandchildren: Marisol Evans, Sara Evans, Nathan Leuck, Amanda Leuck, Samuel Leuck, and Victoria Leuck; great-granddaughter, Abigail; and her brother, James (Kay) Wehrle of Onalaska. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn Joan Evans, and her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM memorial service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
