Bradley J. “Brad” Tegge, of Waukesha, lost his fight against a series of illnesses on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. He was born in Waukesha on October 13, 1956 the son of Henry and Patricia (nee Courtney) Tegge. Brad was a proud Vietnam era veteran serving in the United States Army from 1973 until 1976. He had a great work ethic and along with his sister he worked at Ho-Chunk Casino for 13 years as a chef. He was a huge sports fanatic and loved all sports. Brad loved motorcycles, working on cars, music, dancing and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved to play jokes on people and he will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for his family.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 19 years Vicki (nee Lindner) of Waukesha, and his children: Patricia Tegge and Nicholas (Denise) Balboa. He was the dear grandfather of Jasmine Carroll, Trevor and Logan Balboa and Breydan and Dylan Tegge. He is further survived by his siblings: Debbie (William) Krueger of Waukesha, Hank Tegge of Waukesha, and Kathy Tegge of Reedsburg along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 4:00 until the 7:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Reverend John Mundt will preside. Burial with full military honors will be held on Thursday, November 29th at 11:00AM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring Street Union Grove, WI 53182.
