Burton "Burt" Boushek

Burton W. “Burt” Boushek, longtime Waukesha resident, died on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home at the age of 85.  He was born in Minnesota, and served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. On November 26, 1949, Burt was united in marriage to Carol Byers in Fond du Lac; she preceded him in death in 2004.  He worked for American Motors/Chrysler for many years until retirement.  Burt will be fondly remembered as the ultimate Minnesota Vikings fan, a hard worker, and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Burt will be deeply missed by his 5 children:  Linda (John) Magerl of Woodstock, IL, Sandy (Frank) Baldin of Kansas, Sharon (Jim) Steinhart of the Town of Merton, Rick Boushek of Fond du Lac, and Gary (Rose) Boushek of Glenview, IL; 5 grandchildren:  Heather (Matthew) Moore, Melissa  Swayze, Rebecca Swayze, Jacob Steinhart, and Sean Steinhart; and 2 great-grandchildren:  Michael and Nathan Moore. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10 from 10:00 am until the 10:30 am funeral service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 3801 W. Morgan Avenue, Milwaukee.  Burial will immediately follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 6737 W. Washington, Suite 3200, West Allis, WI 53214.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Wyndham House of Pewaukee and AseraCare Hospice for all their care of Burt.
