Carl D. Amore

Carl D. Amore, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. He was born in Chicago, IL on August 30, 1935, the son of Charles and Frances (nee Bout) Amore. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 in Germany. On July 20, 1957 he married Ruth (nee Pedersen) Amore in Chicago, IL. He had worked at LTV Steel, retiring in 2002. He then moved to Florida for 10 years, where he was captain of his bocce ball team. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Brookfield and a member of VFW Soat-Vergenz Post 721. He enjoyed working out in the gym and bowling and had a bowling team at Brookfield Highlands.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters Annette Amore of Lindenhurst, IL, Susan Amore of Brookfield and Denise Amore of Waukesha. Dear grandfather of Samuel Charles Amore, Alan Carl Angell and Cory Robert Smith. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Amore and his sister Marie Amore.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. in Waukesha.
