Carl H. Wolff

Carl H. Wolff of Waukesha went to his eternal home on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the age of 97. He was born on July 2, 1926 the son of Carl A. and Leona (nee Kohn) Wolff. Carl was a 1944 graduate of Watertown High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge he married Eunice (Mohr) Wolff; she preceded him in death after 61 years of marriage on July 21, 2012. Carl worked for 14 years at the Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a telegrapher agent and then served as the Postmaster for the Wales Post Office for 27 years. Being active in his community kept Carl busy and he found great satisfaction in being in the volunteer fire department and the American Legion Honor Guard firing squad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, sporting events, jogging and traveling. Carl was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. 

He will be sadly missed by his daughter Linda (Bill Wucherer) Wolff of Mukwonago and daughter-in-law Cathy Wolff of Grafton, grandchildren, Joshua Wolff and Rachel (Adam) Clausen and great-grandchildren Zion and Eden. He is further survived by his sister, Marilyn Seefeld, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Richard and brother-in-law Elmer Seefeld.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10:30AM until the 11:30AM funeral service at the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Full Military Honors will take place following the funeral service. A private burial will be held at Lowell Cemetery.
