Carmella A. Condon

Carmella A. Condon a lifelong Waukesha resident was born to Eternal Life on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 85. She was born in Waukesha on March 16, 1934 the daughter of Frank and Mary (DiIulio) Lombardi. She was 1952 graduate of Waukesha High School. On May 5, 1956 she married William “Bill” Condon at St. Joseph Catholic Church where they have been longtime members. When Carmella was young, she worked for the Hardy Co. before becoming a homemaker raising her two sons. She was a former member of the Footnotes Dance Club and enjoyed being a member of the Wisconsin Athletic Club. Most of all she loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband of 63 years, Bill of Waukesha and their two sons, Mark (Kelley) Condon and John (Lisa) Condon both of Golden, Colorado and her cherished grandchildren, Megan, Robert, Braelyn and Barrett. She is further survived by her sisters, Toni Zeller of Waukesha and Elizabeth (Dennis) Bourgoin of Elk Grove, IL, her best friend and sister-in-law Marian (Tom) Atkinson of Jefferson along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Hunkins, Minnie Simon and Josephine Kuhlka.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the nurses and staff at AngelsGrace Hospice and Fresenius Kidney in Waukesha for their kindness and care provided to Carmella and their family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha. Private interment will be at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family to be given to charities close to Carmella’s heart.
