Carmen C. Rouse

Carmen C. Rouse of Waukesha passed away peacefully into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the age of 93. She was born in Oconto on December 17, 1927 the daughter of Louis and Verna (nee Whiting) Belongia. Carmen was an incredibly strong woman who raised her five children with strength, love and grace.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Vicki (Jim) Oman, Christine Dufek, Leon Rouse, Stephanie Conmy and Jackie Rouse; her grandchildren, Jeff Oman, Rob Oman, Michael (Alyshia) Dufek, Matthew Dufek, Sochan Run, Katie Everest, Steven Conmy, Cassidy Conmy and Gage Schmitz and her great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Avery Grace, Tyler, Liam and Bobby. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Rouse; grandson Charles McLaughlin; brother Aaron (Connie) Belongia and her cousin Ruth Shufelt who was like a sister to Carmen.

Visitation will take place at St. Anne Catholic Parish, 228 E. Main Street, Coleman, WI 54112 on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon will follow mass. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery.
