Carol E. Lundquist, of Waukesha, died peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at home surrounded by her family at age 63. She was born on April 24, 1952 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Calvin and Phyllis (nee Seelbaugh) Watson. Carol was a lifelong public servant working in Maryland, Ohio and in Wisconsin before retiring from the Waukesha County Probate office where she served as deputy registrar. On January 28, 1988 she married Eric Lundquist and together they were active members of First Baptist Church in Waukesha. Carol loved old movies, culture and history and enjoyed mastering the history of Waukesha. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, traveling, antiques, reading, cooking and was a delightful piano player. Carol had a generous and caring heart and opened her home to everyone. But most of all in Carol’s words, kindness is the most important thing.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Eric of Waukesha, her devoted and cherished daughter, Corinne Lundquist, her mother Phyllis Watson of North Jackson, OH, her brothers, Rick (Kathleen) Watson and Bruce Watson along with her Youngstown family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Calvin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the 3:00 p.m. memorial service at First Baptist Church, 247 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186.
