Carol J. Riley, of Waukesha, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 81. She was born on May 11, 1928 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Gustave and Esther (nee: Klatt) Janzer, Jr. She was a 1946 graduate of Holy Angels Academy. On August 21, 1948 she married Robert A. Riley in Milwaukee. She was a charter member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. For many years she was very active with the Waukesha Service Club and enjoyed her many bridge friends. Carol was an exceptionally talented cook, baker and seamstress and devoted her life to her family. She will be sadly missed by her children Kathleen (Donald) Ketterhagen of Lake Geneva, Mary Ellen (J. Michael) Ramstack of Lunenburg, MA, James (Ann) Riley of Dousman, Carolann (Jeffrey) Kneser of Wausau and Colleen (J. Matthew) Holland of Dellwood, MN. Loving grandmother of D. Robert (Mary) Ketterhagen, Paul (Jaime) Ketterhagen, Joseph (Tammy) Ketterhagen, J. Kevin (Adrianne) Ramstack, Kathryn Ramstack, Jennifer (Marty) Stewart, J. Paul (Alexandra) Riley, John Matthew Riley, Molly Riley, Jacob (Krystal) Kneser, Kathleen and Laura Holland. Proud great-grandmother of Wilhelm, Milo, Joe Jr., Riley Grace and Colin Ketterhagen and Baby Stewart, who is due any day. She is further survived by her brother Richard P. Janzer of Apple Valley, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on July 7, 2006 and grandson Joseph Patrick Holland. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM Vigil Service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 31st at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
