Carole L. Schroeder

Carole L. Schroeder passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years, March 10, 2025. She was born in Waukesha and Carole lived her whole life in Waukesha and Wales, graduating from Waukesha High School.

After high school, Carole worked for various attorneys prior to working for Waukesha Circuit Court Services as a Deputy Clerk of Courts for 38 years.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Cheryl (nee Burt) Schroeder. Survived by her brother, Bob (Linda) Schroeder, nieces Lisa and Cynthia Schroeder and grandnephew, Isaac.

Carole loved crocheting and knitting, creating beautiful afghans. She was part of Creator’s Coop (The Gift Sampler) in downtown Waukesha for over 25 years; holding various positions on the board of directors of the Coop. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to a bowling league for many years at various bowling establishments in Waukesha. Carole was a great fan of music and loved going to concerts around Wisconsin. Her favorite band was the Moody Blues. When she was not crocheting, she was a voracious reader, sometimes finishing a whole book in one day. She also enjoyed watching PBS and westerns, and was also a passionate Packers and Brewers fan.
