Caryn L. Rozmenoski of Waukesha, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the age of 70 after a courageous battle of renal cancer. She was born in Whitefish Bay, WI on April 9, 1953, as the daughter of Warren F. and Josephine L. (nee: Marzu) Andree. Caryn earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Dietetics at the University of Wisconsin Stout. She married Stephen Rozmenoski at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Whitefish Bay. Caryn was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith and a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed visiting shrines around the country. Caryn embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that was evident in her care for her parents, husband, children, grandchildren, and countless others. She radiated light and accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a loving smile. Caryn took great care and interest in her family members’ lives, enabled joyful family gatherings, and continually supported her grandchildren’s educational and athletic endeavors.
Caryn will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 47 years, Stephen, and their six children: Christine (Eric) Jacobson, Andrea (August) Arndt, Brent (Alyssa) Rozmenoski, Dana (Troy) Pagel, Cynthia (Ryan) Robin, and Michael (Abigail) Rozmenoski. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jasmyn Somarsingh, Ean Jacobson, Josephine Arndt, Callen Pagel, Aleksandar Rozmenoski, Jack Arndt, Madelynn Pagel, Hazel Robin, Mackenzie Pagel, Natalie Rozmenoski, and Beau Robin, her sister Janet Dupont, and the beloved family pets. She was preceded in death by her loving parents. Caryn will always be remembered for the contagious smile on her face and will be missed deeply by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30AM on Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 818 N. East Avenue in Waukesha. Mass will follow at 10:30AM. Her family will hold a private celebration of life afterwards.
Caryn’s family would like to thank her care teams and ProHealth Hospice for the exceptional care she received. Her family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that in lieu of flowers, you make a contribution to a cancer foundation of your choosing or dedicate a mass in her memory at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
