Catherine “Kay” J. Schultz-Pflueger of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at age 90. She was born in Chicago, IL on December 30, 1928 the daughter of Joseph and August (nee Broad) Lawlor. Kay was a resident of Brookfield since 1969 but enjoyed her summers in Door County and winters in Tucson, AZ. She worked in the Tupperware wholesale distribution business for 23 years where she earned the Regional Presidential Circle Award for her outstanding sales achievement. Many of her Tupperware sales team became longtime friends. Kay was a woman of strong faith and longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brookfield. She was known as the hat lady to many and delighted in her great sense of style. Kay loved fresh flowers, cookies, traveling, reading the Wall Street Journal every morning by the fireplace and lunching with her many friends.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Kurt (Margaret) Schultz, Martin (Faith) Schultz and Kevin (Joan) Schultz. She was the proud grandmother of Catherine Schultz (Tim Keepers), Daniel, Laura, Sarah, Timothy, Anthony, Matthew (Samantha), Joshua and Anna. Kay is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Louis Schultz, her second husband Virgil Pflueger and her sister Mary.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th, from 9:30AM until the 11:30AM funeral service at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 13445 W. Hampton Rd., Brookfield. Burial will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Heart Association.
