Charles E. Miller, Sr. of Waukesha, died on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at LindenGrove in Waukesha at the age of 76. He was born in Waukesha on August 6, 1933 the son of Hugh J. and Mary Louise (nee Hertz) Miller. Charles proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1950 until 1953. He then worked as a welder for the gas company for 42 years until his retirement. He was a former member of the North Prairie Lions Club. He will be sadly missed by his children: Charles (Kathy) Miller, Jr. of Waukesha, Kathy (Tom) Francis of Oshkosh, Thomas (Sue) Miller of Hawaii, Kevin Miller of Milwaukee, and Dawn Miller of Milwaukee. He is further survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Keith (June) Miller of Pelican Lake, sisters-in-law Betty Miller of Hartford and Phyllis Miller of Hayward along with nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death in death by his son Todd Allen Miller, his infant son Timothy Miller, his sister Karla Krueger, his brothers: Hugh Miller, Jr. and Richard Miller, and his parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 4:00 until 7:00PM followed by the funeral service at 7:00PM all at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00AM. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:30AM for a procession to the cemetery.
