Charles Clarence Young, long-time Waukesha resident, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Edmond, OK at the age of 79 years. He was born on July 18, 1935 in Milwaukee the only child to Clarence and Elsie (nee Nuszbaum) Young. He proudly served his country in the United States Army/National Guard from which he was honorably discharged in 1963.
Charles married Eileen Dunning on October 4, 1958. He and his boys enjoyed model railroading, gardening and woodworking which he learned from his father, a finish carpenter. He was a proud member of the NRA, was a loyal employee of Heidleberg for more than 20 years and demonstrated a great work ethic as an independent service technician in the printing industry until his retirement in 1999.
He leaves behind his wife, Eileen of Edmond, OK, sons, Daniel Young of Golden, CO and James (Tami) Young of Edmond, OK, and his grandchildren Aubree, Damon and Samuel Young. He is also survived by loving extended family and friends. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elsie Young.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186 from 10:00AM until the time of the 11:00AM funeral Mass. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials in Charles’ name are appreciated to Catholic Charities.
