Cheryl A. Whiteford of Waukesha, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 59, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 9, 1951 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frederick and Hortense (Schlass) Kaiser. After graduating from Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee, Cheryl received her bachelor’s degree from Alverno College in 1972. She was united in marriage to David Whiteford on May 19, 1973 in Milwaukee. She was the Director of Volunteer Services at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and was employee for over 24 years. With a passion for music and singing, she was a member of the Waukesha Choral Union, and more recently the Jubilate Chorale. As a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Waukesha, she also enjoyed singing with the church choir. Cheryl was an avid quilter and was a member of Crazy Quilters of Mukwonago. But most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Cheryl will be deeply missed by her husband of almost 38 years, David “Dave” Whiteford of Waukesha; her children: Pamela (Andrew) Hebbring of Waukesha, Robert “Bob” Whiteford of Waukesha, and Kevin (Jenevieve) Whiteford of Muskego; grandchildren: Paige and Elle Hebbring and Taylor and Maddison Whiteford; her brother, Gary (Barb) Kaiser of Rochester, WI; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Vigil Service at 7:45PM, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Visitation continues on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 W. State Hwy 59, Waukesha, from 9:30 AM until the 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Fr. James Loehr will preside. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
