Clarence G. Stellpflug

January 11, 1933 — December 23, 2016

On December 23, 2016, the Lord decided to call home Clarence G. Stellpflug as he needed another handy man in Heaven. Clarence was born on January 11, 1933 in Galesville, WI to George and Lucille (nee Schindler) Stellpflug. On August 31, 1957, Clarence married Donna Lord at St. Aloysius in West Allis.

Clarence worked hard all his life. He began his working career by helping on his family farm in Trempealeau and working in a saw mill with his father. Clarence was a Veteran, serving in the Korean War as an Army Mechanic. After his time in the service, Clarence moved to the Milwaukee area and worked most of his career for the Bonness Brothers retiring with Zenith Tech as a heavy equipment mechanic in road construction. He was actively involved with every parish he attended, especially at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot which became his part-time job after retirement. Throughout his life, Clarence was a devoted family man.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 59 years Donna and their children, Mark (friend Dawn) Stellpflug, Mary (the late Paul) Martin, Theresa (Timothy) Blake, Thomas (Lori) Stellpflug, Margaret (Dean) Pollnow, Maria (Greg) Newman, David (Sallie) Stellpflug and Paul (Jennifer) Stellpflug. He was the proud grandfather of Jeremiah (Amber) Stellpflug, Mark Stellpflug, Nicole (Kyle) Perrin, Brooks (Deidra) Martin, Cassandra Blake, Brian Pollnow, Jacob (Kelsee) Stellpflug, Chase Martin, Kyla (Zach) Wenger, Nathan Pollnow, Naomi (fiancé Zach) Stellpflug, Betsy Stellpflug, Amanda Newman, Olivia Stellpflug, Charlotte Stellpflug, Meredith Stellpflug and Rowen Stellpflug and great-grandfather of Trinity, Rebecca, Alyana and Hudson Stellpflug. He is further survived by his siblings, Norman (Annette), Averleen and Doreen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry, three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Three Pillars for their care and support.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Hwy D, Waukesha, WI 53189 (corner of Hwy 83 and Hwy D in Genesee Depot). Graveside services with full military honors will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Three Pillars.
