Clement Robert Szalkowski

Clement Robert Szalkowski, age 95 died peacefully at his home in Waukesha Feb. 20, 2015. He was born December 2, 1919 in Green Bay to Frank and Anastasia (nee Tryanowski). On Sept. 9, 1950 he married Marjorie Mae McTavish in Green Bay. Clem was an avid golfer. During WWII he proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp, 461st Bombardment Group stationed in Italy. . He is survived by his wife Marjorie, his four children: David, Robert (Ann), Ann Marie (Tony) Balzo, and John (Kristen). Grandchildren: Aaron, Maria, Jacob (Eleanor), Megan, Paige, Mike, Lisa, Karissa, Ben, and Sam, and Clem’s last surviving brother Joseph. Visitation will be Fri. Feb. 27, 2015 from 10 AM until the Funeral Mass that will begin at 11 AM all at St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 N. East Ave. Waukesha WI 53186. Burial with full military honors will follow at 1 PM at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials are appreciated to either the Disabled American Veterans P.O.
