Clifford W. Borgstrom, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. He was born in Duluth, MN on September 26, 1926 the son of Andrew and Cecelia (nee Swanson) Borgstrom. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Force during WWII in the Philippines and Japan. Clifford worked for Waukesha Engine for 43 years and was a founder of the Waukesha Engine Historical Society where he served as historian for 22 years. He was also a member of the Old Timers. He was a long time member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, a member of the VFW and the Disabled American Veterans.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Jocelyn “Nonie” of Waukesha and their children, Bonnie (the late Robert) Simon of Madison and Jim (Debbie) Borgstrom of Waukesha, his grandson Rob (Deby) Simon and great-grandson R. Payton Simon. He is further survived by his brother Carl (the late Helen) Borgstrom of Ottawa, his sisters-in-law Genevieve (the late Ken) Huelse and Susan (Dale) Arenz of Delafield along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant sons Ralph and James and his brother Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 4:00 PM until the time of the 7:00 PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will be private at Prairie Home Cemetery.
