Corine Carter, of Brookfield, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. She was born on February 18, 1920 in Arkansas, the daughter of Lonnie and Nancy (Wilson) Satterwhite. Corine was united in marriage to Leonard Carter who preceded her in death. She will be sadly missed by her children: Frank (Lilly) Carter, Herman (Faye) Carter, Ivory (Pete) Werra, Sherman (Marsha) Carter, and Jessie Carter; grandchildren: Lineata, April (Miguel), Michelle (Jeff), Matt, Andrae, Frank Jr. III, Carlin, Herman Jr., Crystal, Shawnté, Antonette, Antonio, Angie, Toni, Derrick, and a host of many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cubalee Crane. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Arlene Carter, sisters: Idonia Banks, Queena Bell, and Mary Crane, and her parents. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, Wisconsin. Burial will be held at 2:45 PM on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Oakridge Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Memorials may be made if desired.
