Daniel B. Young

Daniel Bernard Young, Born on October 17, 1960 to Charles and Eileen Young in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Died November 25, 2014 in Golden, Colorado. It is fitting that Dan found his final rest in the mountains of Colorado. As an active outdoorsman, he enjoyed photographing and experiencing nature through backpacking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and cross country skiing.
Dan graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha in 1978 then attended vocational school earning his welding certification. He went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. He worked a number of years for the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and later worked in air quality engineering in northern Wisconsin and Colorado.
Dan will always be fondly remembered for his willingness to help others and for his tenacity in finding answers and solutions to perplexing problems. He is missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his brother, Jim and sister-in-law Tami, and their three children Aubree, Damon and Samuel of Edmond, Oklahoma, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held in conjunction with his mother Eileen’s on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. Visitation continues on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00AM until the time of the 10:00AM funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Reverend Curt Frederick will preside. Entombment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
