David Anderson left us unexpectedly on Friday May 26th. He was born and raised in Waukesha, WI. Growing up, David was a very gifted athlete. His athletic journey began with the sport of gymnastics, competing for M&M. Very early on, David displayed his ability to pick up on skills easily but his great work ethic was what really helped him excel. Along the way, he went onto wrestle and play hockey where unforgettable memories and friendships were made. His freshman year of high school, he found his passion for football. He played for Waukesha West all four years where he was a captain, won a conference championship, and received other awards and recognitions. Despite how great of an athlete he was, David was an even better person. There are no other words to describe his presence other than lighting up a room every time he entered it. His contagious smile and unique sense of humor is something that people will always cherish, remember, and miss. A part of David's character that people admired was his ability to make anyone feel comfortable, regardless of how well he knew them. During a time like this, it is important to recall the comfort he provided while he was here, and use it to heal and grow while he is gone. His genuine kindness, love for everyone around him, and uplifting spirit will forever live on through his loved ones that he had to part with.
David was preceded in death by his Grandmother Barbara Stauss whom he leaned on for strength, and lives on through his parents John Anderson, Chrisann (Ron) Trotter, brother Jacob (Brittany) Stauss, sisters Heather and Angela Anderson, Niece Skyler Stauss, nephews Colton and Blake Stauss, many more family members, former teammates, and friends.
