David L. Shulfer of Waukesha, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Virginia Health & Rehab at the age of 68. He was born on September 28, 1947 in Waukesha the son of Edwin and Evelyn (nee Klish) Shulfer. David attended Waukesha Schools and worked for Waukesha Engine/Dresser for more than 30 years. He had a great love for country and western music and enjoyed traveling to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. In his younger days, he enjoyed building model cars. David will always be remembered for his quiet spirit and as a loving brother who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his son Michael Shulfer, his daughter Michelle Shulfer and his beloved brothers and sisters, Connie Powers, Bernard Shulfer, Linda Mace, Christine Shulfer, Joseph Shulfer, Verona Shulfer, Mary Schulfer, Bertha Shulfer, Steve Shulfer and Margaret (John) Reyes. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of the Virginia Health & Rehab for their kindness and care provided to David and their family.
