Dean B. Kind

July 14, 1940 — July 27, 2016

Dean B. Kind of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Brookdale of Brookfield at the age of 76. He was born in Waukesha on July 14, 1940 the son of Roman and Eleanore (nee Pape) Kind. He was a 1958 graduate of Waukesha South High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was stationed in Korea. Dean retired from General Castings.

He is survived by his son Steve Kind of Milwaukee, his granddaughters Hailey and Lacey McConnaghy of Portage, MI, his brother Duane (Jan) Kind of Waukesha, his sister-in-law Tina Kind of Waukesha and his cousin Susan Kind McCormack who has been there for him the last 5 years. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Timothy Wassenaar and Dr. Logan Elangovan and their staff for the kind and gentle care they provided Dean.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials in Dean’s name are appreciated to Fisher House Wisconsin, 5000 W. National Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53295.
