Deborah J. "Debbie" Nehs (nee Anderson), lifelong resident of Waukesha, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 49. She was born on April 4, 1958. After high school, she first worked in nursing, then went on to work many years as a machinist in the food processing industry. Debbie will be fondly remembered as a peace-loving, earthly person who loved nature, flowers, and music. She especially enjoyed gardening, camping, and sewing. She was also a loving mother and grandmother who put everyone's needs before her own. Debbie will be sadly missed by her four children: Timothy Fisher of Waukesha, Matthew Fisher of West Allis, Cassidy Nehs of Waukesha, and Jeffery Nehs of Waukesha; three grandchildren: Madilyn, Jaidyn, and Gabriel; her mother and father, Barbara (nee: Leuth) and Elroy Hendrickson of Wausau; six brothers and sisters: Bob (Karen) Anderson of Neosho, Cheryl (Mike) Hanson of Reedsburg, Sue (John) Thompson of Sullivan, Jacqu Utech of Wausau, Fred (Pam) Hendrickson of Wausau, and Patrick (Carrie) Hendrickson of Wausau. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 9:00 AM until the 12:00 Noon funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
