Debra "Debi" Vittetow Mielczarek

Debra L. “Debi” Vittetow Mielczarek, age 47 of Williams Bay, WI, passed away Wed. Aug. 25, 2010.  Born Oct. 26, 1962 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of John F. Vittetow and Diane L. Vittetow Billert.  She graduated from East High School in Rockford in 1980, and married Jeffrey A. Mielczarek on May 9, 1992 in Woodstock, IL.  To this union, a son, her pride and joy, Mackenzie was born.  She received her CNA certificate from Rock Valley College in Rockford, and attended Gateway Technical College working towards her RN degree.  She was employed at Motorola and several nursing homes over the years.  Debi was an excellent cook and superior seamstress.  Survived by Jeffrey Mielczarek and son, Mackenzie, both of Williams Bay; father John F. (Pat) Vittetow of Altamont, IL; mother Diane L. (Bill) Billert of Rockford; twin sister Deann L. (Robert) Pennington and nieces Heather and Grace, all of Sugar Hill, GA; mother and father-in-law Melvin and Nancy Mielczarek of Lake Geneva; sister-in-law Laurie (Steven) Mandich and nephew and niece Maxwell and Madalyn, all of Williams Bay; brother-in-law Michael Mielczarek and nephew Mike Jr. both of Lake Geneva; aunt Judith Ball of Rockford; and uncles William (Shirley) Vittetow of Rockford and Steven (Jean) Vittetow of Durango, CO.  She is also survived by her grandmother Louise Nelson of Rockford and many cousins.  Private services will be held at a later date.
