Deloris M. Dickenson

Deloris M. (nee: Warthan) Dickenson, age 86 died on Monday, March 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sparta on October 19, 1938 to James S. and Lillian Mae (nee: Kinney) Warthan. Deloris had a passion for animals, especially her beloved pets. She enjoyed caring and nurturing the flowers and garden she planted at her home each year. She had a knack for making others feel special, often sending thoughtful cards to family and friends and she loved to shop, always on the lookout for the perfect gift or treasure. Above all her family was her greatest joy, she especially loved her grandchildren.

Deloris is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Dickenson, their three children, Daniel (Karen) Dickenson, Deanna (Steve) Bates, Darren Dickenson; two special granddaughters, Sidney Dickenson and Lilli Dickenson and dear great grandsons William and Maxwell Martin and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ray, Luwellan “Dutch”, James, David, Ike, Melvin, Edward, Leonard and Violet.

Services will be held in the future with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta, WI.
