Dennis E. Hilgart

Dennis E. Hilgart, of Waukesha, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Avalon Square at the age of 77. He was born in Park Falls, WI on April 22, 1939 the son of Theodore and Eva (nee Ball) Hilgart. On September 13, 1973 he married Barbara Sterner-Burback; she preceded him in death on July 6, 2007. Dennis spent his life working as a country music promoter and professional wresting promoter. He also spent many years working as a real estate investor. He loved downhill skiing, golfing and race car racing but most of all loved being with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Jason (Fiancée Michelle) Hilgart of Waukesha, Anton (Leah) Burback of Menomonee Falls and Johnette (Thomas) Skubal of Littleton, CO, his grandchildren, Kalen (TJ) Anderson and Samantha and Joshua Skubal and one great-grandchild Thomas Anderson. He is further survived by his sister Cathy (Harry) Berg of Illinois along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Barbara, he was preceded in death by his brother Theodore “Teddy” Hilgart and his sister Joanne.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Private burial will be held at Salem Cemetery in Wales on Tuesday.
